Meals Ready to Eat, a military staple sometimes in Short Supply, will help during those first few days of the Aftertime when all is in chaos. My Own Meals is a similar item, stored at room temperature. Other sources are Pre-Assembled food supplies and Dried Food. A Hot Pot to keep hot water handy will help too, and cans can be opened without a Can Opener. For those truly on the run, Food Tabs or Ensure can provide temporary nutrition.
