Sept 9 the sun was 5 minutes late in rising. It was again deep orange red, with pink clouds around.
Sep 9 SunRISE in Oklahoma : 12 minutes LATE
I enjoyed the sunrise this morning. However, it was difficult to get an actual sunrise time as the sun appeared to rise out of a cloud bank. The past two days a big cloud bank has been on the horizon. The sunrise should have been @ 7:01am per navy but the time I saw it peek was 7:15am. I think the actual time of sunrise was between 7:11am and 7:13am.

The Sun reached my baseline at 1:07PM on 9/9 in VA. True Noon via the compass occurred at 12:45PM.
Sep 9 NOON in Missouri #2 : 9 minutes LATE
Sept 9 Missouri #2 Noon is only 9 minutes late. So this is a strange 10 days, after over 10 weeks being 21 minutes late!
Sep 9 NOON in Oklahoma : 11 minutes LATE
I decided to make sure I watched the noon sundial to get confirmation today. The sun transit actual by my little sundial was 1:32pm a difference of 11 minutes.
