Around 10:30 on August 26 Beijing time, a mudslide
disaster occurred on the Nepal side, resulting in significant
casualties at the Jilong Port in Jilong County, Xigaze
City, Tibet. This was initially interpreted in the media as
being a flash flood from rain fall, but this was quickly
withdrawn as there clearly was scant rain. The bodies are still
being
counted.
There was at the time a Magnitude 5.2 quake, though this seemed
like a lightweight quake to cause such a mudslide. Weather
experts concluded the quake was the result of the mudslide, not
that the mudslide caused the quake. Next the flash flood was
claimed to be a glacier lake formed by a melting glacier, with
the thinning glacier ice breaking to release this flood. But
what broke the ice dam?

- One terrifying clip of
surveillance video from the Chinese side of the frontier
shows a raging wall of mud and debris crashing over a
building several stories high on Wednesday morning,
engulfing it as dozens of people run for their lives
below. The surge sweeps away buses and cars like they are
toys. The cause of the flooding was not immediately clear.
But Nepal’s foreign minister Shishir Khanal said an
earthquake likely triggered a landslide, which in turn
blocked a river, sending water gushing downstream.
The Zetas point to a Plate Movement, as the mudslide occurred
directly on the India/Tibet plate border. The Zetas call a
movement of the India Continent, pushing under the Himalayans –
the Brake. All other significant quakes around the world would
then follow this movement of the Brake. This was termed a Ricochet
or Domino quake event in 1998 when an analysis showed a clear
pattern of significant follow-on quakes occurring in a West to
East direction. “Map and data showing the domino effect
now in place for quakes 5+ since the 7.4 Turkey quake in
August 1999. Quake push moves from west to east, to the
opposite side of the plate or in the next plate to the east,
in general, within a day or so.”

8/25/2026: We have stated that when it comes to Plate
Movement, the India Plate is the brake. When it moves all
other plates are free to move also, for a time - a Ricochet
event. As Nancy documented when analyzing 1998 quakes,
these Domino
quakes occur from west to east, as the globe turns. This
Tibet Mudslide is significant in that respect as it can only
be the result of a Plate Movement for the India Plate. Yes the
rush of water was from a release of water from a glacial lake,
but what was the trigger? A 5.2 quake is a lightweight quake,
and the lake had been there for eons. The mudslide was on the
border of India and Tibet, and Plate Movement always has
trauma along their borders.
An analysis of the follow-on quakes indeed show a West to East
motion “within a day of so” of the inciting 5.2 in Tibet.
The quakes in Indonesia occurred on August 29 – 3 days after the
inciting 5.2 quake on the India/Tibet border on August 26. Other
border related quakes that occurred on August 27 were considered
a part of the India quake – a twitch in the India Plate that
tapped the Africa Plate near Madagascar. The Indonesia quakes
were clearly on plates separate from the India Plate.

8/29/2026: Domino quakes just to the left (west) of
the India Plate appear to move westward in response to the
initial India/Tibet border quake direction. But these quakes
are a continuation of the original India/Tibet quake. The
India Plate is large, curved toward Australia, and when driven
under the Himalayans opens a void to the west in the Indian
Ocean near Madagascar as well as to the east among the minor
platelets in Indonesia. The west to east movement expected
occurred later in Indonesia, whereas the Madagascar quakes
occurred directly after the initial India/Tibet border quake.
These original quakes show plate movement as the source of the
mudslide event as Tibet shows the original quake directly on
the border with Tibet.
