Sunset Sun
Colorado, on May 12, 2003
- On a whim went outside and took these pics last night at sunset not expecting anything. Caught an object that we were not really
expecting with what looks like a gas/dust sphere around it. This is where the sunrise photos having been spotting a sphereical cloud
shaped object supposedly that might be Planet X.

- I have had a look at the three originals and find that the "spot" appears at the same X/Y coordinates on each images. Even though
camera has moved position, spot is at exactly same X/Y position in images. This would lead me to suspect that the object may be a water
spot or possibly dirt on the lens.

- I took the pictures with my Kodak DC4800 3.1 megapixel digital camera. I took several pictures, but these three are the only ones the
mystery object appeared in so I could rule out a spot on the lens. I do not know what this is. I could not see it because of the sun's
brightness. In the first picture I stood so the sun was blocked by the neighbor's roof. The next two pictures the sun had set behind a cloud
bank and luckily the object was high enough to be caught in the picture. I did not know I had anything until I opened the photos on my
computer. I had seen where people had shot the setting or rising sun and had also shot a mysterious object, so I thought I'd give it a try.
And there it was. The object appears to also be setting, as my first shot taken around 6:30PM MDT has it higher in the sky.
