The data makes that statement, but the Shepherds have been screaming too loudly so the Sheep haven't been listening. I suspect they talk among themselves plenty, though, and I've had indications of that. How many people would put up with what I undergo here on this Usenet? And then the unsolicited e-mail starts from self appointed Shepherds like Paul Schlyster, who admitted he privately e-mails anyone who debates the Zetas. On May 28, 1996, Jupiter was positioned at:

JUPITER May 28, 1996RA: 19 12 51Dec: 22 19 03 S
JUPITER June 27, 1996RA: 18 59 41 Dec: 22 48 45 S

..........

Here's where Hale-Bopp was supposed to be on May 25, 1996, per observations by JPL, as portrayed by their new May 28, 1996 Orbital Elements. This JPL posting is documented on the web at

http://www.zetatalk.com/halebopp/hb000028.htm

Using these Orbital Elements placed into my Skymap program I come up the a RA and Dec for Hale-Bopp on May 28, 1996

HALE-BOPP May 28, '96RA: 19 31 44 Dec: 15 09 20 S
Distance from JUPITER isRA: 00 18 53Dec: 07 09 43

Here's where Hale-Bopp was supposed to be on June 23, 1996, per observations by JPL, as portrayed by their new June 27, 1996 Orbital Elements. This JPL posting is documented on the web at

http://www.zetatalk.com/halebopp/hb000031.htm

Using these Orbital Elements placed into my Skymap program I come up NEW RA and Dec for Hale-Bopp for June 27, 1996 and for May 28, 1996, of:

HALE-BOPP May 28, '96RA: 19 0 10Dec: 12.21.35 S
Distance from JUPITER isRA: 00 12 41Dec: 09 57 28

HALE-BOPP Jun 27, '96RA: 19 00 09Dec: 12 17 04 S
Distance from JUPITER isRA: 00 00 28Dec: 10 31 41

See how they CHANGED MAY 28, 1996 RA AND DEC, SO THAT IT IS FURTHER OUT FROM JUPITER, moving from Dec distance of 07 to 10! Did it spring across the sky, AWAY from Jupiter? All this happened between May 25 and June 23 observations?
